🌵AUS✈️JFK🌃 It’s always sad saying goodbye to someone, but it’s always great to be reunited with another 😽 @cat_flesh #adios #texas #travel #typography #tengallonhat #handtype #home #austin #nyc (at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport)
‘Birds of Paradise’ Tribute ➰ I’ve been pretty inspired lately by #FrankStella and his retrospective at the #Whitney. I am somewhere stuck between his early and late work because I think design should be organized objectively but there needs to be spontaneity and flow that makes it intriguing and worth exploring.

A few row houses around Brooklyn that I illustrated. There will be a lot more coming soon.
A cover for The Trial by Kafka that I made out of construction paper and yarn. The needlepoint is a metaphor for the random connections K unravels when investigating the reason behind his trial.
The Trial deals with the nightmare potential of bureaucracy and how the law is only upheld by the people who perpetuate it.
A Preview of the book cover I am making for Madame Bovary by Flaubert. It’s a beautifully written book. I needlepointed this which took forever, but I really begun to understand why Emma Bovary was so discontent with her life given to her as a woman in mid 1800s. #fuckthepatriarchy
